01How Much Does A Mold Inspection Cost In Florida?
Pricing depends on property size, the type of testing and travel distance. We provide competitive, transparent quotes for both residential and commercial properties. Call for a free estimate; there is no charge to talk it through.
02How Quickly Can I Get Results?
Most lab results come back within 24 to 48 hours. The InstaScope survey reads the air in real time, on site, so elevated rooms are identified before we leave. Specialty tests like mycotoxin analysis can take longer.
03What's The Difference Between Inspection And Testing?
An inspection is the physical hunt: a visual and moisture assessment that finds the areas of concern. Testing is the proof: air and surface samples analyzed by an accredited lab to identify the mold types and quantities present. Most projects need both, and we quote them together.
04Do You Test For Black Mold?
Yes. We test for Stachybotrys, the mold commonly called black mold, along with the other mold types the lab identifies. Air and surface sampling determines both the type and the level of contamination.
05Do You Remove Mold?
No. Mold Shark only inspects and tests. Florida licenses mold assessors and mold remediators separately, and we never perform remediation, so nothing we find is tied to a repair we could sell. When work is needed, your report includes a written remediation protocol any licensed remediator can follow, and we can return afterward for independent clearance testing.

Yes. We work with most carriers and provide detailed, professionally formatted reports that support your claim and speed up the process. Adjusters and attorneys use our documentation because it is independent.
