Mold is an issue for me, so I require extra caution when purchasing a property. I used them two times to inspect for a purchase and they are phenomenal. I only trust them when I want to be sure.
I was in need of a last minute mold, moisture, and IAQ inspection. I called Donovan around 11am and within 30 minutes we had the inspection scheduled that day. Donovan arrived same time as me and we went over what I needed and why. The agents and I sat in the kitchen while he carried out his visual inspections at which time he showed me the areas of concern, demonstrating the equipment used revealing moisture. He then gave me the choice of where I wanted air sampling set up before finishing those. He suggested expediting the lab results due to my time constraints allowing me to get his reports before the inspection period ended, a 2 day turnaround.
Donovan is great! He's knowledgeable, responsive and lets you know if he's running late (I was beginning to think people didn't do that anymore). And, since he can't legally fix any mold problem, he has no vested interest in "finding" one. I consider myself a pretty picky consumer, but I was 100% satisfied with my Mold Shark experience.
